Location: Georgetown, Kentucky Job Type: Contract Schedule: Monday–Friday | 40 hours per week
We are seeking an Environmental Engineer to support environmental planning and compliance activities for manufacturing and non-manufacturing facilities. This position will work closely with Production Engineering teams as they implement equipment changes, facility modifications, capital projects, and new launches.
The Environmental Engineer will evaluate proposed projects for potential environmental impacts, determine permitting requirements, and help ensure operations remain compliant with applicable environmental regulations.
This role will have a particular focus on supporting highly regulated West Coast operations, including facilities in California and Oregon.
The ideal candidate has a strong environmental compliance background and is comfortable working directly with engineering teams on active manufacturing projects. They can review a proposed project, identify potential environmental impacts, determine whether permitting is required, and guide the project team toward a compliant solution.
Experience navigating California environmental regulations would be a significant advantage.
