Italy – Remote · Full-Time · U.S. Business Hours · English About the Role CooperBuild is looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Bookkeeper based in Italy to support our U.S.-based operations. This is a fully remote position, but the successful candidate must be comfortable working U.S. business hours and communicating daily with our U.S. team. Strong written and spoken English is essential , as the role involves regular communication with management, employees, vendors, and other team members. Key Responsibilities Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records Record and categorize daily financial transactions Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable Perform bank and credit card reconciliations Review invoices, receipts, expenses, and supporting documentation Assist with payroll records and related bookkeeping Track outstanding payments and vendor accounts Prepare basic financial reports and summaries for management Coordinate with the U.S. team regarding financial and administrative matters Assist with other bookkeeping and accounting tasks as required Requirements Must currently be based in Italy Proven bookkeeping, accounting, or similar financial experience Strong spoken and written English communication skills Must be willing and able to work U.S. business hours Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy Comfortable using accounting software, spreadsheets, and cloud-based systems Ability to work independently in a remote environment Reliable internet connection and suitable remote-work setup Strong organizational and time-management skills Experience working remotely with a U.S.-based company is highly preferred.
