\nEngagement: Contract / Part-Time (20 hours a week) → Full-Time Opportunity
\nStarting Hours: Approximately 20 Hours/Week
\nCompensation: $30/Hour + $250 per Qualified Meeting Attended + 3% Revenue Commission
\nAvailability: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM ET
\nCommitment: Minimum 1 Year
\nNYC Access: Must be able to periodically work with leadership in Hudson Yards, Manhattan
\n \nROLE OVERVIEW
\nNextGen Coding Company is hiring a highly driven Senior SDR / SDR Lead to directly drive new business and help build a scalable outbound sales engine.
\nThe objective is simple: generate qualified meetings, pipeline, and revenue.
\nWe want a hunter who is comfortable picking up the phone, speaking with decision-makers, handling rejection, following up consistently, and figuring out how to generate opportunities.
\nYou will personally cold call, prospect, email, qualify prospects, book meetings, test markets, develop messaging, and determine which outbound strategies produce results.
\nNextGen will provide paid Apollo access, an auto-dialer, HubSpot, company email, sales materials, prospect data, target markets, and direct access to leadership.
\nWe do not want someone who requires a detailed daily playbook. We will provide goals, resources, context, and support. You will be expected to take ownership, execute, measure results, and continuously improve.
\nThe role begins at approximately 10 hours per week . Strong performers can scale to 20, 30, and ultimately 40 hours per week based on qualified meetings, pipeline, and revenue generated.
\nCORE RESPONSIBILITIES
\nPhone prospecting is a major component of the position. Candidates who primarily want to send automated emails rather than speak with prospects should not apply.
\nWHAT WE SELL
\nNextGen provides:
\nSALES TECHNOLOGY & RESOURCES
\nNextGen will provide:
\nNYC / HUDSON YARDS
\nThe position provides remote flexibility, but candidates must be able to periodically work in person with leadership in Hudson Yards, New York City.
\nIn-person sessions may include cold-calling blocks, prospecting, roleplaying, call reviews, campaign development, pipeline reviews, conference follow-up, sales strategy, client/prospect meetings, and NYC networking.
\nPERFORMANCE EXPECTATIONS
\nOur long-term objective is to build an outbound organization capable of generating 100+ qualified meetings attended per month.
\nThe SDR Lead will initially be evaluated on personal production and can progressively take greater ownership of the broader SDR function.
\nPrimary KPIs include:
\nHOURS & GROWTH
\nThe position begins at approximately 10 hours per week.
\nStrong performance can increase the engagement:
\n10 Hours → 20 Hours → 30 Hours → 40 Hours Per Week
\nAdditional hours are earned based on performance. We want the role to economically justify its expansion through qualified meetings, pipeline, and ultimately revenue.
\nREQUIRED AVAILABILITY
\nCandidates must:
\nREQUIRED EXPERIENCE
\nPREFERRED EXPERIENCE
\nExperience selling or prospecting within IT services, software development, AI, SaaS, technology consulting, staff augmentation, staffing/recruiting, or B2B professional services is preferred.
\nExperience with Apollo, HubSpot, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, Instantly, JustCall, auto-dialers, email sequencing, and sales engagement platforms is a plus.
\nIDEAL CANDIDATE
\nWe want a hunter — someone who hears "go generate pipeline" and starts figuring out how to do it.
\nThe ideal candidate is competitive, sales-driven, persistent, resilient under rejection, confident speaking with executives, strong at objection handling, quick on their feet, resourceful, self-directed, organized, coachable, data-driven, accountable, and motivated by measurable performance.
\nYou should be capable of both personally producing sales opportunities and eventually helping build a larger SDR organization.
\nCOMPENSATION
\nBase Compensation: $25/Hour
\nQualified Meeting Bonus: $50 per qualified meeting attended
\nA qualified meeting must:
\nRevenue Commission: 3% of sourced revenue , paid upon collection of the client's first invoice.
\nThere is no cap on variable compensation.
\nExamples:
\n$10,000 sourced project → $300 commission
\n$25,000 sourced project → $750 commission
\n$60,000 sourced project → $1,800 commission
\n$100,000 sourced project → $3,000 commission
\nMeeting bonuses are paid separately from revenue commission.
\nAPPLICATION REQUIREMENT
\nPlease include a short note answering:
\nSeniority Level: Mid-Senior Level
\nEmployment Type: Contract / Part-Time → Full-Time Opportunity
\nLocation: United States — Remote / Hybrid NYC
\nCompensation: $30/Hour + $250 per Qualified Meeting Attended + 3% Revenue Commission
