Job Title: Toddler Teacher and an Assistant

Classroom Structure: 1 Lead Teacher, 1 Assistant Teacher
Position Type: Both Full-Time and Part-Time positionsAbout the Role
Our daycare center is seeking an experienced, compassionate, and motivated professional to join our team in the toddler program. In this role, you will partner closely with a Lead Teacher to co-create a safe, nurturing, and joyful environment for our littlest learners. If you have a passion for early childhood development and love watching waddlers, toddlers and preschoolers hit their milestones, we would love to meet you!
Key Responsibilities
Compassionate Caregiving: Provide attentive, responsive, and loving care to babies and young toddlers, and preschoolers, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met throughout the day.
Developmental Engagement: Lead and participate in age-appropriate activities (sensory play, storytime, music, and motor-skill games) to promote physical, emotional, and cognitive growth.
Routine & Consistency: Maintain and follow daily schedulesincluding playtime, meals, and nap timesto provide the predictable, secure environment toddlers and all children thrive in.
Supervision & Safety: Actively monitor and supervise children at all times to ensure absolute safety during all indoor and outdoor activities.
Team Collaboration: Partner effectively with the Lead Teacher and center staff to plan, brainstorm, and implement engaging educational and recreational activities.
Classroom Upkeep: Maintain high standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and organization within the classroom to ensure a healthy environment for children and staff.
Qualifications:
Experience working with infants, toddlers, or preschool children in a licensed childcare or daycare setting.
A warm, patient, and energetic personality with a genuine love for early childhood education.
Strong communication skills to collaborate with team members and connect with parents.
Ability to meet physical demands of the role (lifting toddlers, bending, sitting on the floor).
Active CPR/First Aid certification is a plus!
